Any child that lives in Florida and turns 4 years of age by September 1, 2008 is eligible for the school-year VPK program. The school-year VPK program consists of 540 instructional hours and daily program schedules vary by provider. School-year VPK can begin as early as August 1, 2008 and should end by June 30, 2009.
All providers interested in offering the school-year VPK (including current VPK providers) should submit a complete application package that includes the following: Form AWI-VPK 10, Form AWI-VPK 11, and three (3) signed copies of the Statewide VPK Provider Agreement.
