All teachers, teacher assistants, and directors working with the VPK program must have a Level 2 background screenings completed within the past 5 years at time of application to include:

Local Criminal Background Screening done in the county in which the instructor resides

Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Criminal Background screenings

An Affidavit of Good Moral Character completed within the past year at time of application
